Geo data – support for researchers

Data Archive Geosciences (DAG)

A data archive system is an essential part of a data management ecosystem. Archiving research data is the practice of identifying data which is directly or indirectly related to a research project or program and where the data is no longer active. These data should be transferred from production systems into a long-term storage system, where it will be protected in the long term against destruction and loss. Data Archive Geosciences (DAG) is a special implementation of Yoda for the faculty of Geosciences providing reliable, long-term preservation of valuable research data. Faculty members can easily access and re-use the data for their own purposes. Archival data in DAG are easily findable and can be brought back into service at any time.
